Bipolar and unipolar schemes for confined band variable switching frequency PWM based inverter

The single phase inverter performance through the unipolar and bipolar strategies has been previously analyzed based on constant switching frequency pulse width modulation (CSFPWM). However, confined band variable PWM (CB-VSFPWM) is currently proposed as a new technique strategy to facilitate design of high order filter, reduce losses, current total harmonics distortion (THD) well. To evaluate CBVSFPWM strategy, this paper presents comparative study CB-VSFPWM using strategies. adopts MATLAB/Simulink simulate analyze simulation results in terms spectrum, harmonic (THD), fundamental components. analysis gives an indication about appropriate type (unipolar or PWM) guarantee desired connected electrical grid standards like THD, spectrum current.
